Remembering Irving A. Greenfield
Irving A. Greenfield (1929-2020) was the highly acclaimed author of over 300 novels, including TAGGET, the basis for the movie starring Daniel J. Travanti.
His best selling classic novel ANCIENT OF DAYS swept to prominence with favorable comparisons to Sir Arthur C. Clarke’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, and some critics have said it blazed the trail for Jean M. Auel’s phenomenon Clan of the Cave Bear.
Greenfield’s reemergence began with his debut on Blueberry Lane Books and his new novel SNOW GIANTS DANCING. A veteran of the Korean War, his latest work is the soon-to-be released McKENNA’S PIECE, a light-hearted parody of the army in the days of Senator McCarthy.
